Key to Successful Dieting – Friday "Free Days"

[ad_1]

If you are going on a long term (8 weeks or more) diet, you should consider giving yourself pre-planned "diet vacations."

My parents tried a popular diet and found that they could not limit their calories for an extended period. My dad would crave a slice of chocolate pie and my mom would long for French fries. They could not work these into their low calorie diet. So, they declared "Friday Free Days." My dad's primary day off was Friday, which is why they chose to make this their diet vacation day. But giving yourself a weekend day off works just as well.

If you are going to try the "Friday Free Day" concept, you have to understand that it is not about going wild one day a week. It is however a way you can break free of the diet routine. Knowing yourself one or two "forbidden" or high calorie foods one day a week is really good idea on some diets. The vacation diet works for two reasons. First, it allows you to incorporate your favorite foods into a diet that is otherwise low calorie and healthy. This keeps you from getting burned out on carrot sticks or feeling stripped in general.

The second reason that "Free Fridays" help you is that it gives you one day a week where your calories spike. This means that your metabolism will stay high. One of the side effects of a low calorie diet is that your metabolism slows down. But having a calorie spike one day a week will "trick" your body into thinking that it needs to burn a lot of calories all the time. Having a "day off" from your diet every week can help keep you motivated and losing weight.

The pharmacies and online markets are flooded with weight loss diet supplements. Some of them are good but expensive. Others have side effects. You can lose weight and burn your fat planning a simple 1400 calorie a day diet. You can draft your own meal plan using simple tips. These are as follows:

· Any diet that you take up must give you all required nutrients. Also the diet must not starve you. There is a difference in burning fat and losing muscle mass. Losing muscle mass is very unhealthy for any person. Also that weight comes back the day you stop the diet. Burning fat is the actual healthy eight loss that you should target.

· Read the labels of the food items you purchase. It is important because in order to make your 1400 calorie a day meal plan you must know the caloric value of any product. This would help you chart the diet that you should take in advance.

· Your diet must include lean proteins, raw vegetables & fruits, nuts, etc.

· Avoid oily foods, rice, white flour, potatoes, junk foods, etc.

· Replace cheese and butter with low fat cheese, etc.

· Replace sugar with honey & apples, etc.

· Use cayenne pepper & lemon for dressing the recipes.

· In you meal plan include some low calorie diet recipes.

· Include salads & juices as far as possible in your 1400 calorie a day meal plan.

· Detox drinks like honey lemon and maple syrup lemon would be a great help.

· Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.

· You can also include some natural weight loss diets like acai berry & colon cleansers.

· 1400 calorie a day would only help you lose weight if you exercise at least 30 minutes daily. You can so some moderate exercises like swimming, jogging, cycling, walking, etc. In case you do intense exercises, 3 times a week, 30 minutes per session would be good.

Which Diet – A Diet For Success

[ad_1]

Well I feel it is safe to accumulate everyone who wants to cut back on food and diet, is trying to lose weight and trim up in some way.

Many types of diets plague the internet today, confusing those out there seeking help. Some of these diets include low calorie diets, high fiber diets, no protein diets, no carb diets, and even the "eat this tiny piece of cracker and lose 30 pounds tomorrow" diets.

Well, I'm sorry to say these diets may work the first week or so, but do not expect any more results past that. These type of diets tend to make people lose water weight, which is the first type of weight to go since it is easiest to lose. Thus, when people diet for a week or so, they will lose a couple of pounds right off the bat and feel great. But come that third or fourth week, they have not lost a single pound, they wonder why and become depressed. The reason for this is water weight. All the water weight left their body and now those low calorie diets, or food group avoidance diets are hurting them. When your body lacks a key ingredient, it shuts its metabolism down to a very low speed because it is not functioning properly. Or, with a low calorie diet, your body feels as if it is going into a "starvation mode." It shuts down its metabolism and will actually begin to store the low amount of calories as fat. It's simply nature and part of survival.

The newest craze however is the Fatloss4idiots diet, or the new lifestyle diet as its called. This diet consist of shifting calories around rather then cutting them out all together. Shifting calories keeps your body guessing whats coming next. When your body is not stuck to the same routine, it will run its metabolism high to keep up with what might come next.

I have reviewed the fatloss4idiots diet at http://www.burnfatbefit.com and have noticed great results. By shifting calories and using this specific plans features, people are losing up to a pound a day in a very healthy nature.

If this is something you are interested in then i highly recommend reviewing the site on your own time.
